well guess what? with all the summer holidays coming up, and the lazy days of summer, dont be surprised if ati and nvidia get all their shit together by the beginning of september

They(don't remember who) said that if you put RAM sinks on that you might actually increase the temps on the RAM. I remember reading this in a review somewhere, check around.

The idea was that the core would heat the ram if they used a big oevrsized universal sink. They have deemed sinking the ram unecessary but..... Ramsinks, if installed correctly, should never hurt an OC or temps.Correctly in this case means having there own separate sinks and spending more money for cardmakers hence none. They are going to continue being viable little enhancements for those that like a little extra effort.
