videocard heat problems

ok, i have a nivida geforce3 with 64mb. ok, after playing some games on miniclips. the videocard gets hott. i touch the heatsinks and it is very hott. its hott as if a p4 with heatsink without a fan running for hours. when i touch the back of the card, where the processor is, that place is hott, even though there is a fan working louadly! what the fuk is wrong?
 
yeah, gf2,3,4 cards all ran pretty hot. my gf2 card put out a lot of heat.

I now have a 9600xt and it doesn't put out much heat at all even though I o/c the hell out of it.
