suggestions on a "non gaming rig"?

I mess around mostly with video and photo editing... minimal gaming, I just want to build with the best and have the power on hand if need be ;)

Im looking at both the XFX HD 6870, 6850 and the Galaxy GTX 560 right now ... I know theyre all probably over kill, but whatever. does a badass video card even matter in the video editing realm?

anyways ~2-250$ would be the limit, not looking to drain the bank anymore, I have other projects to do that

my specs are below, adding 4 more GB of mem with the addition of the video card. single monitor + my 46" Toshi LED TV
