Video Setup

I currently have one GTX 260 core 216

The setup I want from the cards:
2x 26" Monitors
1x TV

The computer is in my office which will be about 50' from the TV. I would like to be able to access the computer from the TV (XBMC, TV tuner). What is the best way to achieve all this.

My thoughts are to buy a second card, TV tuner card, and 50ft HDMI cable. Run sound along with the video cable to receiver in living room.

Is there anything better?

I would have said that if one of the screens doesn't need to be running 3D then to shoot for a USB->VGA adapter. Actually EVGA did a really nice one called the UV+ which I've used a few times at work to add additional screens to laptops and such, but that's been discontinued in the UK now and I can't find them anymore

Both Screens will be in 3D and there is a chance i will get a 3rd screen for the office, that will most likely not be 3D.

Connect your dual monitors to the GTX 260, then use a separate video card for the TV. If you are lacking internal slots for an additional video card, I've seen USB VGA cards out there that could be used for the tv function.

I would recommend the second video card as well you could get an elcheapo 5450 or a gt 220

I guess it depends on what you need from the video out to your tv, the 5450 and 210 gt can carry audio over hdmi to the tv. If you have a receiver capable of hd audio you may want to try the 5450 as it has more features, but it may be a pain with windows to install 2 different brand video cards.

Alternately you could always get a second 260 gtx or a 5850 (and have 3 outputs via displayport to dvi/hdmi adapter )
