ok i have a 9800pro 128mb. it has a svideo port on the back. if i was to connect my xbox to my tv and comptuer at the same time(svideo to comp , vid plug to tv) and use fraps to record my screen would that work?
 
I think FRAPS would show 30 fps or whatever your recording source records at, but im not 100% on it. Since technically, that IS what you would be doing.

Im thinking of it like say a Counter-Strike movie. The demos = 100fps, but the finished movie is @ 30fps, which is what I THINK you'd be recording from the computer.

Someone clarify this please.
 
Make sure that you have a VIVO card, and that S-video port is Video In, and not Video Out. Also, it would be best to use something like VirtualDub to record from your Xbox since FRAPS only records and displays the framerate counter while in 3D applications.

Oh, and if you're running a game at 100fps, and FRAPS is set to record at 30fps, FRAPS will limit your FPS to a maximum of 30fps.
