Video Problem

Ok, so I am building a system and am using a PCI Express Flex card to make it so my video card will fit in my case that I am modding. But for some reason when I boot up into windows after the loading screen it goes blank. When the video card is in the PCI Express slot it works just fine, and when the machine boots up with the flex card it shows graphics.
I also tried it in Safe mode and it loaded windows right up. So I am thinking its a Direct X problem or something that when it loads up in windows that it shuts down.

So I am wondering if I am doing something wrong or did I get the wrong Riser Flex card.
Flex Card that I have.

Any help would be great. Also do I need to ground the riser cards to the case?

The graphic card that I have is an XFX 5770.

have you tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them with the flex card installed? about the only thing i can think of if its working in safe mode but not regular..

No I haven't tried it, but may give it a shot. The Flex card had a silver cover, that wrapped around the ribbon cable. I had taken that off to flex it a little more, but decided to try putting it back on. For some reason that was able to get me into windows. But when I tried to fire up a game, the game became very jerky. Not sure if there is a Latency in there or not. I also tried the same game without the flex card and it worked just fine. I may try the drivers again.
