Like the title says, which players use hardware acceleration... I'm mainly interested in those that work with nVidia cards, "PureVideo" and PureVideoHD".

Does nVidia got their own player maybe?

I just downloaded the latest version... cant find the setting that would enable Hardware Acceleration on the nVidia card anywhere...

you have to change the settings under options-> playback-> output.

It will still use CPU but it should be much less.

just another proprietary DVD decoder made by nVidia, it is worthless precisely.

CyberLink's proprietary DVD decoder produces much better image quality and lower cpu consumption.

or you can use coreavc 1.9 with cuda.

Coreavc is lower quality with more blocking than DXVA according to AVS pics. Media player classic can accelerate x264 natively with the built in MPC decoder if you have an nvidia card.

Newer builds of mythtv and mplayer both use nvidia hardware acceleration.
