Here is my trouble, i was playing a game the other day and suddenly i get jagged graphics and its unplayable. After reinstalling drivers, trying omega drivers and running xp repair the issue was still not fixed. So i thought maybe it was overheating. I have an ATI x800 with an aftermarket cooler on it. I took the cooler off and cleaned the heatsinks and reapplied some paste to see if that would help..nothing helped. So i downloaded ATI tool and played with the settings and watched the temperature.
My ATI temp has never shown anything above 42c but what i noticed is the default of 588.xx mem was causing my problem. So i found the threshold of 371.77where i rid of all texture issues. Is there something i can do to improve my performance (Should i turn up the core?) or something else i can try to correct this? I appreciate any help. Thanks
