My friend is looking for a svideo-in card for his computer, so he can hook up his analog video camera to his computer. Now, I don't know much about video-in cards, but I was wondering if any of you knew of any ~30$, thats good quality, and will allow him to hook his video camera up to his computer to upload videos.

Last time I was at Newegg they had some basic 'DVD maker' cards thayt featured a connexant chipset for like $12 for a refurb. Great deal... so great I bought a few. I use one in my main rig since nVidia was stupid and took the VIVO out of the 7900 series. Awesome for importing home video, playing consoles through your PC, etc.

[EDIT: Damn, they're out of them now. A shame cause it was a great deal. ]
