Yes, that was a good miss but why was the driver and not his passenger recording? That makes it even better in a way, he was recording AND still missed the truck.
I was addicted to Cocaine before I found video games!
... then I had to go to rehab for WoW addiction

I think he's even more lucky there was no traffic in the right hand lane when that occured.
A little side bump would be better than going head-first into a semi that isn't moving anymore.
Yeah its obviously an nvidia "the way it was meant to be played" Physx title. Did you see the way that truck realistically flew apart as it ramped that wall?
"Tonight on Ice Road Truckers, something FINALLY happens. Also, Lisa Kelly is a pretty trucker who's also a girl."
Totally agree on this, one should never stay directly at the corner of another car, just go slower or faster to be safe.I'd blame the person sitting in his blindspot or in a position to be cut off. I never sit in people's blindspots for that very reason. I rather give them enough room so they can cut into my lane without incident, or I get around them quickly so I'm no longer in their blindspot.
Although any good driver is aware of their surroundings and can tell you when someone is in their blindspot without checking. The only time they wouldn't know is if someone was in a parallel lane and merged next to them into their blindspot. Which is why you check, but in an emergency you don't have time to check. Which is also why I never switch lanes into someone's blindspot. I just assume everyone else is a moron who can't drive, and have yet to have an incident on the highway.
I still manage to get rear-ended in stop and go traffic for some reason. Apparently the long line of cars and brake lights means ram into me at 40mph and cause $6,500 worth of damage. That's happened twice, luckily the second time was a lot slower and it was more like license plate damage then anything to the car so I let the punk go without involving any insurance/police.
Show me one person who's life has been saved by video games and I'll show you a hundred fat virgins who'll keel over from diabetes in their parent's basement before living long enough to venture out into the sun.

Read the article and you would know.
Thanks, I only watched the YT vid. I see it now.If you clicked the link to the article, it says that in a telephone interview the guy said that all his years of playing videogames has paid off.
Biggest question in my mind - why the hell does he have a video camera on his dashboard??? Am I just getting old?
