video file organiser software

I have a very large collection of music video files. So i wanted to sort them in a particular order. For example, a filename might be called "Britney - Poison".

is there sofrware out there i could view or search for videos by artist or video name? so this means that this software must be able to work out that text before the - is artist name and text after the - is song name...

no not windows media player or search function.
and the fact that i do not want to be re entering couple hundred tracks into another database.

I know that newer version of Winamps can do that with mp3's... Possibly some way to set it up there, or download an extension for it.

oih i see, but do you know any like standalone software that just concentrates pureply on the organisation of video files either by artist name or by song name?

- yes i understand that music videos do not have tagging id therefore it will be harder to determine the artist type.
