Im having trouble with a new board that i purchased. its a shuttle MN31N. it has onboard Gforce 4 MX. when i try and run any type of video intensive program (ie game) the computer re-starts? does anyone know what might be causing the problem? i heard something about ram timings? any info would help before i return the board.

probably board defect. All i can say is, do not go for onboard video. Maybe putting a proper video card in will solve the problem. Not to mention speed up your graphics ;)

That is what I was going to say. Try to stick another video card in and see if that solves your problem.

Driver problem?? I had that issue with an asus a7v pro.. God that was a good mobo back in the day. Uninstall the drivers for the mobo, and downloaded the newst ones.

Could be memory, double that your ram is on the compatability list.

And gf4 igp isnt that bad.
