Ok im really confused right now on how to get what I want when im doing video editing. What I want to do is take vob files from a dvd then find some way to change the files from vob format to something I can edit in windows movie maker or some other software. The problem Im having is that once I find software that can turn my vob files into mpeg they seriously decrade in quality and resolution. Is it possible to convert a vob file into some format that software can edit without losing quality or resolution.
 
Sorry but there wasnt a video section and Im just waiting for this to be moved to the right place.
 
Look under the "Real Life Stuff" sub-forum, then Hobbies, there is a section in there about movies/videos, maybe they can help you out.
