Video Converting

My nvidia 5600 is nearing the end of its life, so it is time to upgrade. My mom has a bunch of VHS's she wants to convert to DVD, so i want to know if any of the new 6800 series can do that kind of stuff. Also what is the deal with the ATI VIVO stuff, is that kind of like a capture card built in. I would prefer nvidia, so any help on a way to convert VHS would result in my mom buying the car, or at least helping me pay for it.

Any VIVO card can do what you want.

I'm not sure about the 6800 gt's or nu's but I know the ultras are supposed to have vivo.

how would i go about converting? should i use a program like adobe priemer? Also, what about sound, im guessing i hook the vcr up to my sound card. Also can someone confirm that the 6800 Ultra has vivo, in paticular, the BFG 6800 OC?

When you go to buy the card the specs on any site should say VIVO in the description, otherwise they are shooting themselves in the foot because VIVO is a great feature for vid cards.
