hi, I am looking for a video converter, to convert vhs tapes to digital format for dvd and also to pass my videos from digital video camcorders to computer
I found this one Canopus video converter, is this a good one?

I don't know about that one, but I've used the ADS Instant DVD and it works quite well.
I had the original, and recently bought the new version, that supports USB 2.0. The main
difference is that it syncs the audio in hardware vs. software. It's a hardware encoder so
the files come out as .mpg and are ready to burn to DVD.
On the forums sites for it, there is mention of a version 3 coming out that will also
support Divx, and a few other things.
If you're looking for a quick, easy capture/conversion tool, this works quite well. Also
Tiger Direct has them for about $120 (It's $200 most places)
