video conferencing / webcame suggestions?

I'm interested in communicating with my Dad from college with voice and video (I could use a separate program for voice if necessary, like Teamspeak). My Dad would also like to use video conferencing for science presentations worldwide. We currently have cable 6.0mbps/384kbps, and I'm sure my dorm at University of Maryland will have pretty good upload. So I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or happens to know the best choices?

UMD is connected nicely if its where im thinking of.. I had a friend who was there he could easily push me 159mbit late night. What kind of price range are you looking at?

Well price depends on what kind of quality I'm getting. If I can justify spending hundreds, I might do it... IF there is justification I'd like to spend $150 or less for 2 devices though.
