Hey guys, I was hoping someone could help me here. I am looking to make a clip from a scene on a dvd (Tenacious D DVD) I just wanted to RIP one chapter and encode it into and mpeg but I am not sure what program I can use to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

PS. sorry mods, didn't know where to put this.
 
Well, you can use programs such as smartripper to choose individual chapters to rip..

it will make vobs of it.

Many many many programs can then turn those vobs into an .mpg file.


www.doom9.org will give you not only a selection of programs to use, but, in addition, will be able to give you instruction on how to do it.
