on dells outlet they list the x800 xt but when i cick to see more info, it says X800 SE. what is that?
 
so an xt is better than se? why does dell list xt in the video section but say se when you click more info?

I just registered to this forum and after 1 day I am yet to receive an email from HARDforum that will let me create my own thread. So, I am trying to post here as I am kinda in the same loop. I am not buying from Dell though. I am thinking of getting it built by monarchcomputers.com for $49.00.

Video card is the key for my as the rig is going to be connected to a SONY 50" Grand Wega TV (Model# KF50WE610). I am thinking of..rather decided to get the X850 XT card from Monarch. My biggest purpose of buying this card is to play a few video games...not real top notch ones....mostly RPGs (Not a great DOOM fan but, like Diablo/Diablo 2.) and also to use the computer as a DVR that will allow me to record DTV (and HDTV in future). In other words, an HTPC with more functionalities. My Budget is between $1000 - $1500.

I have picked up a few components myself:

I am totally up for building the rig but, I will need some help. So, I may go and pay that xtra $49.00 to get this built. Totally confused on MoBo and Memory. Pretty much determined to have X850XT and Raptor. Later, I will add a huge HDD to store stuff if need arises.

Also, can I live with Windows 2000 Pro or do I need to get Windows XP media center edition for $120.00?
