Video Card:

Read and learn. If you're referring to something as "or whatever" that doesn't give me much motivation to help out.

Do you intend to game on 3 monitors (this is highly unlikely), or just run 3 different monitor for youtube videos, word processing and such? That's doable.
 
The second option , i am soryy, i am not very knowledgeable in the radeo field, i think its crossfireX
 
Then just about any Radeon HD 4xxx or 5xxx card with two DVI outputs will fit your purposes. No need to worry over specifics as to model numbers and such, just pick one that fits your budget.
 
ok with my main board it has vga, dvi, and hdmi, it says i HAVE to boot with vga in a dual setup so like dvi and vga? is there a way i can run all the outputs off my board? that would save me buying a card
 
No in order to support more than one (possibly more than two) displays you must buy a card. Your board will only support one, maybe two displays at a time. I'm reasonable sure it supports VGA and either DVI or HDMI (but not both DVI and HDMI) at a time. To get a third display you need a card. Using a card you would be best off getting one with 2 DVI and using the DVI or HDMI off your board for the third display, since you'd then be booting off the card. Do not worry, a card will only be $30-50 or so, not terribly expensive.
 
and how to i go about setting it up to use the dvi/hdmi port of my mobo?

( Ireally appreciate your help, i am dumb...very dumb when it comes to video cards, always been a fan of onboard video lol)
 
can you reccomend a card then? i searched newegg for 2 dvi port ati cards, and thats one of the cheaoest that i got....
 
This is probably what s-c is talking about.

Does the third monitor have to be run from the DVI port? The video card comes with a DVI-to-VGA adapter, but you may need a DVI-to-VGA cable otherwise.

While a Radeon 5-series video card can power three monitors by itself, the third monitor must use DisplayPort in order to function correctly.

ok that should work, i can use a hdmi to dvi adapter? to give me one dvi port and use the other dvi port on the card and the onboard dvi?
