video card wolnt post, please help

Ok, Im not sure if this is in the right section but here goes. Last night I turned off my computer normally, nothing was overclocked and it worked perfectly before today. This morning I go to turn on my computer and the computer turns on but the monitor gives me a box that says "no signal input". So I figure just reset the bios and it will be fine, I do that but still nothing. Then I tryed the DVI output instead of the VGA, nothing. I tryed a different monitor, still "no signal input". Then I hooked up another computer to the monitor and it worked fine. So I decided to take the video card out (BFG 6800 GT OC) and try it in another computer, volia the video card works! What a relief. Then I figured Id try a different video card in the computer, and I got "no video input" yet again. Now my question for all you geniuses here is, What could be the problem and how could it have been caused over night?

Abit K8V MAX3
BFG 6800 GT OC
1GB Corsair PC3200
500Watt PSU
100GB 7200rpm HDD (IDE)
120GB 7200rpm HDD (IDE)
DVD Burner
DVD Drive
Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer
LeadTek TV Tuner
USB PCI card
 
I would pinpoint the problem to the agp slot on the mobo, it might've gotten damaged, have you tried another mobo in your pc? if not i would suggest trying that out, also try out the same monitor on the same vid card but in another system (if that makes any sense) it might also be that the monitor is shot
 
Yeah, I was thinking the AGP slot might be the problem but could that have happened overnight when the computer was off? And I will try the same monitor and video card in the different PC.

Anything can happen at any time, you never know maybe it got damaged during the shut down or the most recent power up, you really never know until you test it out.
 
So your 1st computer won't POST no matter what videocard you put in? Sounds to me like your motherboard is toast.
 
True. I just tryed the 6800 in another computer with the same monitor and it worked fine. Goddammit, I really dont feel like buying another motherboard now.
