So, i'm working along, and decide to shutdown for a while and come back later. Shutdown, come back in an hour, and boot up. Video works fine, that is until windows. I see the nice windows xp boot screen, it goes along fine, and then once it gets into windows... nothing, monitor says no signal. So, I reboot a couple times, and then finally try to get in using vga mode. Boom, works great. Next I go to bump up my res... 800x600, 16bit color, 60hz... nothing, no signal so says my monitor. Any idea? For a monitor that does 1600x1200, it suprises me it for some reason doesn't like anything above 256color 640x480. I'm off to try some re-installing drivers and a different monitor.
