I've also heard good things about the intensity cards.. but I was hoping that there was a video card on the market with hdmi input so I could kill two birds with one stone since I'm building a new video editing pc soon.
This may be incorrect, but in this particular situation, given the likely quality requirements, a jack of all trades may *very* well be a master of none. Get a good Intensity card and you'll likely keep it longer than you keep the video card you buy today, and upgrade later.
