specs are in sig...

right now i'm looking to spend around/under 200, anything equivalent to/or better at around my price as my 2x5770 crossfirex?! i hadn't been really keeping up w/ comp hardware lately so i'm kinda outa the loop. kinda wanna switch to just 1 card b/c the pcie runs in 8x as opposed to 16x when it's in crossfirex

Go with a Radeon 6950 1GB. If that's too pricey, 6870 1GB should do nicely. Although note that your cards are not bandwidth starved with PCIe 8x. Do you have a better reason for switching (microstutter, heat/noise, etc.)?
 
honestly no real reason to switch i thought that would be a big issue, if not i can survive... the fan does get loud once a game is on, but nothing i'd go crazy about. but just wanna know what my options were, thanks!
