Hey guys,

I need a recommendation for a video card for :
ASRock 960GM-GS3 FX
AMD Athlon II X3 460 3.40GHz
ingMax 4GB DDR3 1333MHz
Sirtec - High Power Element 400W

I currently have a MSI GeForce GTX 550 Ti OC which just started to fail in starcraft 2 hart of swarm.

Thanks in advance.

What games, resolution and quality option do you intend to use?

Try to find a GTX 560 (regular or ti) and maybe a slightly stronger power supply at a decent price.
Or even a GTX 650ti/Radeon 7770/90.

I think Nvidia always seems to release cards with a flawed bios for fan speed as i remember having to flash my brand new (then) EVGA 460GTX 768Mb because of it and it's still kicking.. i just picked up a 560GTX SE and it seems to really get warm to the touch and needs that bios flash BAD.

The only NVidia card I've had was a GT 630.
That little cheap rebrand (GT 430 with a few higher clocks) hasn't given me any problems.
Hell, it even manages to keep up with Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm on mostly high settings, with a few lowered and at 720p.
