In about 2-3 weeks I will be upgrading my machine. I wish I could afford a new machine, but I can't, so I will be upgrading the RAM to 512 (the MBs maximum), and upgrading my Radeon 7500 to something better.

My fave game is BF1942/DC which runs completely crap on my system, which is a 1.2 GHZ Celeron, 256 RAM (for now), 7500 DDR PCI Video card.

My MB doesn't have an AGP slot so I am stuck with PCI. What is a good video card for me to get that's PCI only? I am willing to spend up to $150, or so. Thanks.

If your willing to spent up to $150 you should really get a new motherboard then, that way you have more options.

The fastest PCI gaming card I know of is a 64MB Radeon 9100. Just hop on pricewatch & search for 9100 PCI.

There are other PCI cards that might run games faster, but they're professional cards and cost an arm & a leg for the most part. Matrox has a PCI Parhelia that lists for $700, and there are also PCI Quadro cards.

I've seen some benches. AGP cards, but for what I'm getting from them that shouldn't matter. 5200s are similar, faster, and slower than the 7500. Ditto for the 9200. There are way too many different clock speeds and bus widths in these low-end models to just go by model number.
If you get a 5200 w/ a 128-bit bus and relatively high clock speeds it'd be a decent bump. Of you could get a slow one w/ a 64-bit bus and end up with an unintentional downgrade.
Of course for all I know your 7500 is some sort of cripple w/ half a mem bus...

I'd just get this Visiontek 9100 PCI:

$65, they're rated over 9 on resellerratings.com, and you know it doesn't have a crippled mem bus.
