Hey everyone, I need to know what's the best video card I can get for a Core i5 2300 without any bottleneck issues. I upgraded most of my system back in February of this year, but I chose to wait off on video card due to running short on cash, so i stayed with my raden hd 4830. But now that I have funds for one I want to get a good video for my system, in case you need to know my full machine specs, its a Core i5 2300 processor, Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 Z68 motherboard, 8 GB Kingston HyperX DDR3-1600 Ram, OCZ Agility 3 90GB SSD, 2 WD Blue 320 GB hdd (one for storage, another for games). I'll eventually upgrade the hdd for bigger ones, and I might get another larger SSD for my games drive. The power supply I have is a Rosewill 700W PS, my friends had good luck with those PS when they built their machines, so I thought I'd give them a chance for my personal rig. I appreciate any feedback and thanks for taking the time to answer.

what resolution and what is your budget. nothing will cause a bottleneck unless you do sli or crossfire

My budget is up to $450. As much as i would like to do sli or crossfire, for the resolution I play with, it would be a waste. I'm currently using my backup monitor, its resolution is 1680x1050. My main monitor broke down its resolution is at 1920x1080, but I plan on getting a new tv later on, so no sense getting a new monitor.

If I go with the GTX 670 should i go with the 2GB one or spend the extra $40 and get the 4GB version, $40 isn't really a large amount so I don't mind spending it.

there is really no reason to spend the extra 40 bucks as 2GB is plenty for that card.

ok, thanks cannon, i'll look into those 2 cards and see which one i'll get. I greatly appreciate the feedback . :D

Yep, the only time 4GB would possibly help is if you were running SLI with 3+ displays. On a regular 1080p/1200p monitor the extra 2GB will never get used.
