Well as you see i have a R9800np which I love to death :) I dont use alot my comp since I work and have things to do during the day...The games I play when i get a chance are CS , COD, BF1942 & DC, but CS most of the time....So I tought of selling my Radeon and using the Onboard Grpahics to play CS ! You guys thing that the Onboard would handle CS...If not reccomend a quiet, cheap, if possible passive cooled video card that will run cs fine...I know this sounds dumb but since i dont use the card alot I could use the money in my GTI ;)

grab a 9600 non pro if u want... or may as well go for a geforec 4 ti 4400 or 4200 or 4600 whatever u prefer, those are damn cheap now
EDIT: ti4200 128mb card is now only $115 on newegg.com

I'd get a GF4, CS was more tailored to Nvidia cards to begin with. I'm an ATI man myself, but seeing my GF3 keep up or have better fps in certain situations than a 9700 Pro gives me enough reason to say that. See you on STNY ! hehe.

you can get a geforce4 mx440 for $29.95 on pricewatch.com if you really want to go that cheap....or just get a geforce4 ti4200 but that would cost more. But on my second machine its an old P3 500mhz , 256mb ram, and i gota geforce4 mx440 and i get a steady 75fps at 1024x768 resolution its great for the price! Wish i had a 9800 ....but i guess im not too far behind with my 9700Pro :D

Let me get this straight..... you want to downgrade because the only thing you play is CS? If you get any of thease cards (xpect the Gf3) you wont be abel to play any of your other games? What are you going to do when CS is no longer played? (as if its not allready)

Soon to be replaced by CS source using an engine that is arguabley much more taxing. Keep the card you have dude

Wow, I have the exact same computer, and yes, it runs CS great. Counterstrike will run great on cards going waaaay back, including intergrated.
