Could a weak or faulty power supply cause a dvi output to not work?
I have a x850xt which works fine with the vga output but does not boot when the monitor is hooked up via the dvi output. My power supply is 380w that came with my Antec case. When I replaced the video card with one that did not require the 4pin connector it worked fine.
