Well i need some help with my video card. i had an evga 7950 go bad on me in 3 months after i had sent them my 7800 when that went bad, both from artifacts, unstable etc. So i get my new card monday, and it wont wake the monitor out of sleep. Thought it was doa, so i had them send me another one, and this one does the same thing. I dont think i could get 2 doa cards in a row. I cant telll what is causing the trouble, because when i use my pci ati9200 it works fine. I think its either the mobo or the psu. I have te asus 8n32sli delux, and an antec true power II 550W. Any idea guys?

First and foremost it would be very good to test your vid card in another pc, like a friend´s pc. Try updating your mobo bios, make sure your CPU is not overclocked, disconnect all the power cables but the HD and the Vid card ones, boot run 3dmark and look for instability and artifacts.

It could be a problem with the monitor, too. Try the monitor on a friend's PC, and see if theirs can wake it up.

have you changed any of the bios settings?may want to have a look to see if pci settings are right
