Video Card problem

I recently downloaded and installed the newest nVidia drivers(77.72 I think) for my 6800nu. After I did that when I try to view video files they appear whitewashed and slightly fuzzy, similar to bad reception on a tv. This happened in both Windows Media and Winamp so I think it has to do with the video card drivers. I also tried Quicktime and the videos that do play (excluding .wmv) play fine. I was going to roll back my drivers to what I had (about 72.xx) but I couldn't find any old drivers on the interweb. Has anyone had this problem or do you have any suggestions that I could try?

1) Go to the NVIDIA control panel. You can get to it by opening the Windows Control Panel, double-click Display, select the Settings tab, click Advanced, then select the NVIDIA tab.
2) Go to the "Color Correction" page.
3) Set "Apply color changes to:" to "All".
4) Set "Color Profile:" to "Advanced mode".
5) Click "Restore Defaults".
6) Click "Apply".

BTW, the search function can save you quite a bit of waiting. This problem has come up many times recently.
