I just bought an open box x850 xt and it didn't even come with a power cable! Where can I get one and does it matter what kind i get?

video cards don't generally come with power cables. You should have a 4pin moelx connector on your PSU to use with the card, if it's AGP. If it's PCI-E, you'll need a PCI-E cable from your PSU, or a 4pin to PCI-E adapter.

my "buzzy" sapphire (wach my thread ) :p came with power cable wich you can connect to psu and then gpu. also you can buy it cheap in every computer shop.

open box cards only come with the physical card only no cables, cds, nothing else. you can buy a power cable at your local computer store though.
