I was playing Warcraft 3 today then the windows does a blue screen then it restarts itself. Then i format my harddrive and reinstall windows XP Pro SP1. After like i played 3 games the blue screen happens then restarts it. I know its not my CPU overheating. Its at about 52C after its reboots it self i checked in BIOS. Im just wondering if it is my Video card overheating i have a 9800pro on stock cooling.

your PSU is not in your sig. what are you using? if it's anything below 420W, i'm gonna put a smack on ya! :)

run Prime95 alongside a graphics benchie for a few hours to verify stability.

also, update your BIOS, as well as chipset and videocard drivers.

Yea, Ive got the same problem with my 9800 Pro, but I dont get blue screens, when I play a game it will just REBOOT or Freeze, its killin me and i even put an 80MM Fan ghetto modded onto it and it still does it.

Chris

edit-ive also got a 420 Watt PSU

I have a 350 W PSU and i have the latest drivers, i was playing warcraft for like a year and it started to happen yesterday, I dunno what the problem is. My CPU is fine. I would think my video card if fine it like a month old. But i dunno i have 2 80mm fans and 1 92mm fan in my Pc and my runs about 52C load. It only happens with Warcraft 3. Unreal tournament and shit is fine. I ran 3dmark 01 and 03 and Aquamark and it fine. I think it something with the game. My friend has a 9600xt and he has the same problems but no as frequent as me. So if anyone has any solution. Post back or email me at carblow12@comcast.net thnx
