Is there a generic overclocking software for nvidia cards, that will work with all there cards, no matter the age?

Thanks in advance!
 
Some software will not be fully functional, depending on the brand of card, release version or age.....in other words, MSI Afterburner will "work" with my old evga 7600 GS card, but that card has no workable fan controller, so it will run off it's own BIOS. Some "reference" release cards are able to be over-volted for overclocking, while a second or third revision my not be due to design differences.

For a good basic software piece, applicable to AMD and nvidia, use MSI Afterburner. It is a very good piece. Afterburner also includes "Kombuster" which is a tweeked Furmark for testing GPU stability, no need to look for furmark.
Rivatuner is the foundation of Afterburner and evga's Precision, and if you like super tweeking for nvidia, Rivatuner is it.
