So i oc'd my leadtek 6800 128mb to 375/850 and was pretty happy. After i restart my computer.... it goes back to 375/700. This happens ALL the time. I'm using coolbits to oc the card. I would use geforce tweak utility from guru3d.com but it doesn't seem to detect my video card..
anyone go suggestions?

Rivatuner...also from guru3d.

edit- you are checking the "apply settings at startup" box and then clicking "apply" right?

same problem here, except my memory oc is hardly ever recognised, it doesnt default back to 700 when i restart stays the same 770. 9/10 the card will still run as if the rams at 700 a few times it will run like its overclocked and i get a nice big fps boost in doom3.

im usin rivatuner and 61.77, tried all sorts of other drivers and utilities.

Mine does this too. And - I check the box that says apply at startup and click apply.

yup i checked the box and hit the apply button, Still gets back in default settings.

edit: just installed rivatuner, what next? i opened the application and there are no tabs for oc'ing or clock speeds or anything. Just Main, Settings, Power user, Launcher, About and Links...

Could it be something in the BIOS forcing the settings back? Only time I've seen that is if the overclock fails.

Use Rivatuner to lock in your oc and then set your Forcewares to the same speeds.
