Hello. First off, here are my specs:

VGA BFG 7800 GT
MB EPOX EP-9NPA+Ultra NF4 ULTRA
OCZ EL 2X1G OCZ4002048ELDCTE-K
CPU AMD 64 |4400+ ATHLON X2 939P RT
HDD Maxtor 6y200mo 200gig

all watercooled with a Zalman Resorator System

OK. My problem is that whenever I go to a website with animated GIFs (pictures) there is a super fast acceleration for them. Sometimes I can control how fast the speed of the pics animation goes by just moving my mouse around. Sometimes not. Same thing happens in games like galactic civilizations --When it shows a demo for a ship your going to build the ships spin around in all direction super fast and same thing with the planets-- I'm not really sure how to describe my problem with a better description. Tried messing with video accelaration at all different levels and it didnt work. Tried messing with a few things in DirectX and it didnt work. Updated all drivers for video card and have the latest directX. Sometimes the problem goes away. Any ideas?

The problem you are describing with the game sounds like you need to set the affinity for your CPU, do a search about it on the forums cause i am not exactly sure how to set it. But i have never heard of it causing problems with websites.

I hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. I tried setting affinity to different settings and none of them made a difference.

Hah. You fixed it.. thx man 8) I thought you were talking about setting the affinity through the task manager. heh. I had to install the driver for the dual core processor and now it works fine. Awesome! I guess this is an updated version because I recall installing the driver for it when I set everything up a few months back. Thanks again.
