Hey is there a good vid card out there for no over 150$? Is it worth it to replace my now aging Ti4200 128mb? Or should i just stick to it and wait for the prices to go down

You could score a GeForce FX 5900 non-ultra, or a Radeon 9800 non-pro for around $200 each and they should give you a year or two of decency. You could do this, or wait for the NV4x and R4xx series cards to come out and make conclusions then. I'd wait because prices on the current line of cards will be cheaper, and you would have the option for the newer generation of cards.

I'd hang on to your 4200 for a bit longer..its still a great card

yea, its not worth upgrading yet
maybe in Q2 when other stuff drops prices

Either wait for the new cards coming out soon, or wait until next year for PCI-Express to come out.

thanx for the replies, another quick q, should i get a Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe mobo and an Amd Athlon XP 3200+ or should i wait for the 64bit ones to go down in prices?
