have not seen one of these threads in a long time so everyone post your video card history,

i will start it up

As this began in 1999, so almost 7 years worth of cards there, so I'd say getting a little over a year per card is pretty good ;).

My next card will probably come sometime early in 2007, as I want to wait for the second generation of HDCP-supporting (not persay HDMI, just HDCP), fully Vista-capable DX10 graphics cards are ready. Considering my main games now are WoW and HL2-derived games, the card lasting that long should be easy. ;D

*Edit - I believe the Voodoo3 2000 was actually 2x AGP at the time.

By far the 9800pro was the most amazing card I ever had. It was the best card for over a year and still is a good card to this day many years after it's inital release.
