I know you can see a set of compatible video cards that works with eq2, but i'm wondering from real world experience which folks have been having best luck with Eye Candy and performance wise.. I'm unsure if I want the 6800 for 500 or the 6600 for 250.. Is the performance that noticable between the two?? Any opinions asap would be appreciated for which we plan to leave out to compusa and bestbuy in a bit
 
6800 would be ALOT better then a 6600. Im running a 6800GT @ Ultra+ speeds and I can run the game with 4xAA/4xAF /w 1280x1024 res @ High Quality (Plus Custom).
 
In some crowded dungeons I have to disable AA or turn off shadows. Otherwise I run really well at 1600x1200 2xAA with the system in my sig.
 
Good deal.. I got the GeForce 6800 OC 128 MB DDR AGP card for 305 at best buy, last one they had.. I noticed for 400 they did have the same mentioned above but with 256MB of memory.. I inquired about it and asked them to search stores in the area.. No go on that allsold out and no chance of ordering
