Video Card fan problem

Looking for suggestions.. I have a GeForce4 ti 4200, and the stock fan finally died. I bought a vantec iceberg cooler for it, but the plastic pins they supplied are too small to push through the holes in the vid card. They're big enough to go into a pair of holes further out, but the holes on the fan are right next to the base. Any suggestions on how to secure this thing to my card? I was thinking mixing superglue into my arctic silver.. would that be a bad idea?

I don't know about superglue, but you can use some thermal adhesive or epoxy to stick it on there. Arctic Silver makes a couple, as do some other places.
