video card differences

ok, i have been seeing Nivida 256MB videocards that are like 100dollers, its like those other brands like chaintech and etc, and the real nivida 256mb cards are more expensie and they look much different from the one that nivida made. wtf is the difference between these cards, are they like crap? their heatsinks also look different.
 
What chips are we talking? The ammount of RAM on a video card is generally a secondary concern to the GPU running it.


...but odds are that whatever they are, a $100 card isn't going to be able to make use of 256MB and they're trying to sell to people that think that a 2.4GHz Celeron is a fast processor just 'cuz there's a big number on it.

I remember there was an AnandTech where the Celerons were getting spanked by 1.3GHz Durons:p
