Hi guys,

I have a video card for my media client, a GeForce 6150 LE (i think). Anyway, it didnt seem to be relaying any signal to my projector for some reason. So I took it downstairs to my main computer and hooked it up to that monitor, same response...no output signal.

So then i hooked up the onboard VGA and it worked fine and I saw in the control panel the drivers were missing...so I reinstalled that. Restarted...same thing, no signal. Hooked up VGA again as well as the DVI on the GeForce and made it search for displays...only the VGA display was found. Control panel says the GeForce is working properly too.

I did open the computer after and saw a tiny dead spider at the bottom of the card on top some plastic, but that was it.

Think my videocard is dead and gotta buy a new one?

Replacing that card would cost all of $15-20. I wouldn't sweat it -- if it's giving you trouble, replace it.

Have you tried checking the settings in the BIOS? Maybe even just disable the on board video trying to force the system to use your add in card.

i coudlnt even get into bios! its an HP slimline...hitting delete didnt even work getting into it

well, it worked 1 time downstairs...so i thought it would be good. Brought it back up to the projecter...didnt work. And i know its not the cables since my laptop works on it.

Shopping time!
