is there any app/prog that tests just the Video Card itself? Kind of serving as a burn-in for the Vid Card? I use Prime95TortureTest to burn in Mobo/RAM/Proc, but i have no idea what to use for Vid. Card other than 3dMark, however, i want to burn-it in while surfing the web etc...and if you try to minimize 3d Mark's window, it messes up :(.

Help = appreciated.

Not to sure about the use of "burn in" with a video card .....but that wasn't your question rthdribl demo might serve your needs

okay, i'll check it out, thanks :D

definetly use rthdribl, it definetly stresses videocards more than anything.

ATItool is designed to find the max overclock of the card by running a 3d window of a high polygon fuzzy cube. All you'd have to do is set it to watch the cube without changine the clockspeed. It even tells you how many seconds it's run with no errors.

heh, will this "burn-in" my video card as, say, Prime95 TortureTesting burns in your CPU? Can you burn in a GPU? Does it help at all?

It will help identify any problems (cooling/power supply) or determine ideal settings (overclock frequencies/AA/AF) by pushing your card. But it doesn't make things run better as if you are breaking in a new pair of boots.
:cool:
