I'm going for the 9800 Pro or the 9800XT, I have to decide this in 20 minutes, but was wondering if different vendors give you different RAM speeds (like samsung 3.3 or lower.) I dont quite know who is the one with the fastest memory out there or are they all at the same speed and it only depends on the Xt or Pro?

all 9800pro's have the same memory speeds and all 9800xt's have the same memory speeds. the only thing that varies is the type or brand of ram they have. i really like samsung memory because its great if you want to overclock your card. if i were you i would get a 9800pro and overclock it to 9800xt speeds and flash it to a true xt. for the extra $$$ 9800xt is not worth it.. if you have the dough and want to get a xt go for it. also with the next gen cards coming out for ati and nvidia the xt's will go down in price...
