video capture

i wanna get a video capture card so that i can hook up my ps2 and play on my comp monitor, but before i get one, i have a few questions:

1) a video capture card is the right thing to get right?
2) i looked on newegg, and for all the video capture cards i saw, i diddnt see wehre you can put in those red white and yellow wires...so...can anybody help me find the right one? cu i dont wanna get the wrong one.

I recommend the PVR 150 MCE.

They usually come with a breakout box if it doesnt have em built in (for the rca hook ups.

Although I hate to say it thats a horrible suggestion. They still have a two to three second time delay which just kills it if you want to hookup a console.

This card will do what you want and it introduces no delay to the gameplay (I have one): Sweet Spot.

That leadtek 2kxp is really awesome for that price IMO, I bought one yesterday and I love it. Mine cost more and didn't have the sound in or out.

hmm I haven't really noticed it while playing my xbox, but I don't play it extensively. I mainly use it running media center. I did have the winfast but returned it because it didn't play well with beyond tv (the main function of my tuner).
