I need some help getting pointed in the right direction...

We have a remote farm that we want to mount a couple of cameras. One camera as a sort of area shot the other more directly at the ground. When it looks stormy, then be able to watch or pull up archived footage to look for hail.

The biggest constraint is upload speed...

We have DSL, but it is pretty slow. I'm not sure how slow, but it ain't rip roaring.

At home I have truenas with emby and so I'm familiar with transcoding. So, I figure that is going to be a component.

Just looking to get pointed in the right direction...
