I'm looking for suggestions on the best video board for my needs please. I've been out of the video board loop for ~2.5 years and have no clue on what's going on or where to even start.

My needs:

* Replacing a dying Radeon HD 4870
* Slot is PCI Express 2.0 (same slot the above card was in)
* I REALLY want something stable, that doesn't burn up, and isn't super loud (doesn't matter too much). I'll take these over a a benchmark crushing card.
* Was hoping to not spend more than $200, but might consider a $300 card
* Preferably a nVidia but will buy another ATI if I have to (my last 2-3 ATIs had problems after ~2 years)
* Something that isn't brand new technology (again, I want something reliable and proven to be stable)
* Would prefer at least the same performance as the HD 4870 but wouldn't mind about the same if it's more stable, doesn't burn up, and doesn't sound like a jet engine.
* My motherboard is a Asus P5Q Pro (not sure this matters)

Thanks folks.
