My BFG GTX260 just started complaining. (whooshing noises) Took it out, gently blew it out.
Now seems quieter.
Your advice on a replacement that wouldn't stress my ps would be greatlly appreciated.
Specs:
Power Supply: Corsair HX620W
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500
OS: Windows 7 64 bit.
I know the pc is a couple years old, but it runs great and can't upgrade for another year or two.
Your advise as always, is greatly appreciated.

You could just replace the fan, or give it a spray with some silicone spray lubricant, if you aren't actually looking to upgrade. Unless the whooshing noise you meant was just the fan spinning up due to heat and not the fan rattling, in which case just make give it a thorough dusting with a can of air (hold the fan still while you blow works better especially if you use an air compressor).

Many thanks for your input noquarter.
I'm presently obsessed with Total War Medieval 2. I would freak if my card went out now.
If it does, I'll just call up the Egg and order another one.
Cheers!
