I'm just wondering, why hasn't someone invented something like this? They have vibrating controllers for consoles, why not add a vibrate feature to the mouse so that when you fire a weapon/get hurt it gives you a little jolt?

sounds like a good idea, u shouldnt have went out in the open with this. I'm gonna be a millionaire! :D

I remember seeing a rumble mouse like four or five years ago in a couple of gamer magazines. Don't remember what it was called, but I remember them saying it was pretty much horrible to deal with.

because in PC games mouses are used to aim.. so if the mouse rumbles its gonna move the mouse... especially if u have a high sensitivity or like me.. an icemat with hyperglides

Logitech made a vibrating mouse 2 years ago. It flopped. ;)

This has already been made. Its called Logitech iFeel. I own one. It was fun...but got very annoying after a while. It would vibrate when you moved over icons (I disabled it) and was used/coded for in the Game Black And White. When you did certain things in the game it would vibrate accordingly. I disabled the feature all together since, you would think it would be cool, but its really not. Especially in a FPS. Could you imagine your mouse vibrating all the time while shooting a machine gun...it would get annoying in a hurry.

How about a vibrating keyboard? The catch phrase could be something like

"The VB800 vibrating keyboard. Excel has never been so fun!"

:p
