VIA Making Intel Chipsets?

Am I missing something, or is there a lack of dual 16x PCI-e/SLI in these images?

SLI is a technology created by nVidia, and AFAIK they haven´t licensed it to anyone. These are VIA chipsets, so there's nothing wrong with them...

OTOH, I do find interesting the integrated video capabilities of these new chipsets. They seem very interesting for an HTPC...
 
plenty of companies make motherboards with multiple x16 slots, that dosent mean they are SLI compatable tho... it just means they have multiple x16 slots...

and plenty of them are non nVidia chipsets also

He was explicitly referring to SLI. Only nVidia makes dual x16 PCIe/SLI chipsets.
