VGA volts MB BIOS question

Just wondering if the volts should be pushed up if the card is being overclocked. Right now in the BIOS on my mother board say its at 1.5. Would it hurt to push it up to 1.6?
 
dont raise the volts if you are just normaly overclocking, raise them if you what to get to a speed that you cant get to with your normal volt setting. make sure that heat isnt the reason why you cant oc to where you want to first.
 
For the record, the AGP voltage option (which is what I'm assuming you're talking about) has nothing to do with the voltage that the videocard's core and memory are getting. All the power that goes into the card is regulated by the card's onboard power components.

Pretty much the only time you should ever need to change the AGP voltage is if you are having problems with the vidcard/mobo at stock. It does NOT affect how far the card can OC. As long as your card is running fine, you won't see any difference raising that voltage.

If you feel like playing with it anyway, be careful not to go much higher than 1.7v (if even that).
